The Menlo Library Foundation is having a bake sale this weekend to fund new and exciting things for the library. 

Menlo Library Board Member Jenna Clarke says that the sale will take place on Saturday at the I-80 rest stop in Adair from 7am until they run out. Clarke says this fundraiser will help to support the library financially along with programs and other purchases. 

“The Menlo Library is on a small budget so the foundation is a committee that helps fundraise money for (the library) to use the summer reading program, new books, new events, programs for kids and adults and it means a lot to us that our money can go a lot further to supply a lot of fun things for our small community.”

Clarke says if anyone would like to donate any baked goods have them wrapped and dropped off at the library on Friday from 10am until 3pm.
