
ADM Tigers baseball was looking to put up a needed win on Monday night against the Bluejays of Bondurant-Farrar, and were able to in extra innings winning by the score of 3-2. The win breaks a two game losing streak and improves the Tigers to 16-7.
The Tigers were able to get a big RBI single in the 8th inning from Sam Holloway to give the Tigers the lead, and then was able to close out the game in the bottom of the frame picking up three strikeouts while stranding runners.
The Tigers got the scoring started with Grant Jansen picking up a 2 run single in the first inning to give ADM the early lead. The Bluejays would get their two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, which ultimately stayed tied before extra innings.
Grant Rychnovsky was able to grab the start, he goes six innings, giving up eight hits, two runs only one earned, while striking out five.
ADM will be looking to put up the season sweep tomorrow when they host the Winterset Huskies in Adel. First pitch will be at 7:30, as the Tigers will be look to pick up the needed win.
