The Stuart Chamber of Commerce is hosting meetings to plan and prepare for the upcoming RVTV that happens in September.
Chamber President Ryan Morrison explains RVTV celebrates the annual Iowa/Iowa State Cy-Hawk football game by traveling around the state leading up to the game and creating a tailgate-like atmosphere. Morrison says they are in the beginning stages of planning the event but they want input from everyone in the community.
“We’re always looking for fresh, new ideas. You know, with a number of these organizations, you can kind of get stuck with the same people, planning the same things over and over again. So it’s good to have that new life, new and new injection of ideas, bring something to the table that maybe one of us that normally does this stuff hasn’t thought of.”
There will be a RVTV planning meeting every two weeks on Tuesday at Country Kitchen. The next meeting is scheduled for July 5th.
