Perry junior Nic Wilhelmi could be in line for a break out season this year as the Perry Bluejay track team gets set for their season debut this Thursday at the Jim Kaufman Track.  “Nic has really worked hard for us this year, said Perry Coach Cody Eichmeyer, “He always is a hard worker but this year things are coming together for him and I expect a break out year from both Nic and Eli Saemisch.”  Perry will have a strong core of younger runners to supplement the veterans of the team.  Freshmen Devin Archer, Grant Eklund, Nick Fellom, Adon Medina and Dane McCarty could all fit in the varsity roster.  “We certainly have some freshmen who are ready to contribute.  They ran very well last year for Coach Trevor Kittleson and I expect that to carry over into their first go around at the varsity level.”
