The Perry Jayette track team reported 22 athletes out for track with the start of the outdoor season this Thursday night.  Head Coach Emi Einck will lead a very young squad both in the running events and the field events.  Heading into the first meet, Einck indicated that  Adrian Thompson should be a solid thrower in the shot put and discus while Haley Kenyon and Taylor Lathrum will add depth to the shot put competition.  McKinley Thompson is currently the front runner for long jump duties.  The Jayettes are still searching for athletes to try and compete in the high jump.

Perry will begin their outdoor season Thursday night when they host the Gale Davis Relays.
