The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved the Prairie Village of Iowa LLC request for withdrawal from an agricultural area at their regular meeting Tuesday.
Prairie Village of Iowa LLC made the request because at any time after six years from the date of creation of an agricultural area an owner may withdraw from the area, which was approved by the Board.
The Board also approved the second reading of proposed amendments to Chapter 45 Dallas County zoning ordinance for the unincorporated area of Dallas County to which it will better clarify and expand the allowed uses within the industrial districts in unincorporated Dallas County. The Board also set the time and date of 9:30 a.m. June 28th for the third reading.
Finally, the Board approved the transfer of management of property, which is an undeveloped wildlife area, to the Dallas County Conservation Board and to help facilitate the transfer and new management of the property the Board also allocated $5,000 to conservation.
