Guthrie County Extension & Outreach Office Youth Coordinator Mollie Clark has released some 4-H information pertaining to goats and sheep.

First off, there will be a 4-H goat workshop this coming Sunday, April 6th at the Christensen Farm near Stuart for any area youth interested in attending.

Second, there is a goat and sheep weigh-in scheduled for Saturday, April 26th, from 8:30 to 9:30am at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds.  Tags cost $2 each. Clark says there is also a $5 charge per animal for retinal scanning if any 4-Hers plan to show sheep or goats at the Iowa State Fair.
