Dallas Center – Grimes baseball and softball will be looking to put together a strong performance on Wednesday evening, with both teams on the field, both teams taking on the Indians of Oskaloosa. DCG softball is 15-5 and baseball is 9-10, both teams coming off of nice wins over Newton on Monday night.

The DCG girls softball team is ranked 6th in 4A, with the team hoping to continue to stay high up in the rankings. They are currently on a six game winning streak, and half a game behind Norwalk for first place in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

Baseball has been playing well as of late, and have been getting outstanding pitching, as the team has a 1.99 ERA. The offense is still working things out, with only a team batting average of .199, but they’ve been hitting the ball better in the last few games.

DCG will be looking to add another victory in warm conditions this evening, with both games to start at 5:30 in Oskaloosa.
