8:40am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 100 Block of North Walnut Street.

12:26pm: Charles Hansen reported a Careless Driver on 220 th Street, heading west towards Jefferson. Officers were not able to locate the reported vehicle.

12:50pm: Jesse Hermansen spoke with an officer about electronic items, which were on his cell plan. He requested the officer to contact a subject to retrieve the items. The subject gave the items to the officer and Hermansen picked them up at the LEC.

1:59pm: An officer assisted the Fire Chief at 503 East Monroe Street, after the residents advised the carbon Monoxide Detector was sounding. No carbon monoxide was located with the testing meter.

12:47pm: An anonymous female reported four dogs jumping at her daughter near the Methodist Church. The female left before the officer arrived to speak to her and would not provide a name, or number for the officer to reach her.

2:39pm: Danica Goff-Hueser reported catching a Stray Dog at Walnut and State Streets. As the officer was placing the animal in the patrol vehicle, the owner of the dog arrived. The owner was given a time period to become compliant with licensing ordinances.

********* Officers have requested Arrest Warrants for a Jefferson couple. The warrants requested are for Shanda Jean Ellingson, 39 of Jefferson for, “Child Endangerment – Aggravated and “Violation of Protective Order – Simple.”.” Warrant requested for Benjamin Jeffrey Ellingson, 37 of Jefferson is for, “Violation of Protective Order – Simple.”

******** An officer has completed an investigation that began on 05/25/2022 for using a subject’s EBT Card without permission. The officer has requested Arrest Warrants for Rodney Charles Sheffield, 35 of Scranton for, “Unauthorized Use of Credit Card under $1500.00 – Aggravated and 5th Degree Theft – Simple.”
