Winterset was a non-conference baseball winner over Greene County on Tuesday night at Allenworth Field in Jefferson by a final of 11-1 by the 10-run rule in six innings. Eight Greene County errors led to 10 unearned runs. Most of the E’s were on ground ball throws. Coach Matt Paulsen’s team fell to 3-8 while the Huskies improved to 4-6.

Senior Kole Teeples took the pitching loss, although he threw the ball well. None of the seven runs in five innings off of the lefty were earned. The Rams had five hits and the only extra base hit was a deep drive to the warning track in left center by catcher Brayden Roberts. Dakota Mobley lad the lone run batted in with a single.

Greene County is at Nevada tonight in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play at the S.C.O.R.E. complex on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com around 7:30 p.m.
