It’s that time of the year again and Friday Fest will make its return this week with the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
The first Friday Fest of the year will take place from 6-9:30 p.m. this Friday in Pattee Park in Perry. Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutt says the beginning of the busy season for the Chamber is marked with the first Friday Fest.
“The band will be Brother Trucker so we are really excited to have them joining us for live music, (the) fire department will be there grilling out, the junior class will have some dessert fundraiser, maybe a few other vendors but of course it is a bring your own basket, bring your own lawn chairs, blankets things like that to enjoy a casual evening for kicking off the summer with some live music.”
Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio that there will be plenty of other events taking place throughout the summer along with Friday Fest including the Summer Farmers Market which has it’s first offering tomorrow as well from 4-7 p.m.
