The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved the Dallas County courthouse tree removal quote at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

The Board approved a courthouse tree removal quote for the removal of an ash tree, maple tree and Japanese Lilac in the amount of $2,565 from Xtreme Tree Inc. out of DeSoto. The Board also approved a Midwest Janitorial contract amendment number two. 

Also, the Board discussed and approved the Building Restoration Corporation contract for the courthouse exterior project which came in at $2,644,165. The plan is to have the work be finished on the courthouse by the end of July 2023. 

The Board also approved a fiscal year 2022 budget amendment and the amendment does not increase the amount of taxes to be collected.
