adm-7

After a great first week on the diamond, the ADM girls softball team will be looking to keep up the good results tonight with a non-conference game against Norwalk. The Tigers enter with a 6-0 record after an undefeated first week, while Norwalk comes in with a 1-0 record.

ADM was able to have a great first week, winning three games in the Winterset tournament along with two conference games and a non-conference game as well. The Tigers were able to put up an eye popping 53 runs in the first six games for nearly nine runs per game average, as the Tigers have been great offensively.

The pitching staff has been special so far, with the team ERA being 1.70. Junior Aliya Yanga was tremendous her first week, throwing 22 of the 33 innings, having a 0.32 ERA, and 46 strikeouts as well. The fielding has also been really good, as they have only had three errors in six games.

The Tigers will be looking to continue those numbers tonight. First pitch will be at 7:30 in Adel.
