A non-profit library support group is searching for more members. 

People Active for Library Service (PALS) is an organization that provides support in many ways for the Stuart Public Library that includes volunteer work, sponsor special programs and fundraising. PALS Member Kathy Johnson says membership can be very flexible 

“It can be as little or as much as they want it to be. It could be that they just give monetarily, give for their membership or it could be that if they feel passionate about something that maybe called upon to bake a dozen cookies, it’s not very hard and you don’t have to.”

The cost is $10 for a single membership and $25 for a family. Applications will be at the Stuart Public Library.
