
Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center baseball drops both games in a double header to Des Moines Christian Thursday.
In game 1, the Chargers lost 5-4 in tightly contested ball game with Des Moines Christian. Brock Littler took the ball as the starting pitcher and pitched a complete game and in 7 innings he allowed 5 runs, striking out 3 and walking only 3 batters. The Lions won in the bottom of 7th when Ethan Elbert for the Lions was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
In game 2, Des Moines Christian scored 5 runs in the first inning and carried on to run rule the Chargers in 3 innings with a score of 14-0. ACGC baseball now has a record of 1-3. The Charger’s next game will be next Tuesday at Ogden starting at 5pm.
