There is still money to be raised for the Fourth of July celebration in Perry and it continues this week with the roundup at the Perry Hy-Vee and Perry Fareway. 

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the goal has been met for the Fourth of July fireworks this year through the Big Boom Bracket Battle and the Radio Pie Auction but there is one more fundraiser that is taking place this week. 

“We are partnering with them so that you can roundup right at the register, whether it’s to the nearest dollar, a couple cents, however much you would like to donate. We have met our goal but that will help us carry forward for fireworks next year so that we will be that much more ahead of the game but you can rest assured that all of those donations are going to the fireworks drive to continue the tradition on for Perry to have their Fourth of July fireworks for years to come”

The roundup is officially underway at both locations and will be running until next Monday at both the Perry Hy-Vee and Perry Fareway.
