The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board approved an amended 2021-22 certified budget at their most recent meeting.
Also, the Board approved a middle school show choir program which has a three year plan from initial set up to full implementation, a 7-12 assistant activities director position which has an annual stipend of $9,500 and the conveyance of real property.
Then the Board approved the District’s 2021-22 certified audit, the second phase of implementation regarding the District’s transportation software and approved the phase two purchase for $66,038 from Tyler Technologies.
Also, the Board approved the purchase of 26 devices from Apple for a staff device refresh, a high school/middle school concrete replacement in the amount of $92,423.50 and the purchase of a high school auditorium speaker replacement in the amount of $10,791.
The Board then approved a food service equipment purchase for a steam table and warming cabinets at DeSoto Intermediate and ADM High School for $20,283.48, updating old and new logos, the purchase of pole banners and the first registered apprenticeship with the District which will start in the 2022-23 school year for a computer support specialist.
