ADM Tigers boys and girls track and field had a very busy first day at the state track and field meet in Des Moines, as they were able to find some good results along the way.
On the girls side, Hallie Henfling and Makayla Crannell both were able to qualify for the finals of the 100 meter dash, Henfling 3rd at 12.82 seconds and Crannell 6th at 12.93 seconds. Henfling qualifies for the in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.34 seconds, finishing 4th. Geneva Timmerman puts up a great 3rd place finish in the girls 3000 meter run, racing at a time of 11 minutes 4 seconds. London Warmuth finishes 3rd in the high jump with a PR of 5-06. The girls 4×800 meter relay team finishes 7th with a time of 9 minutes 57 seconds.
On the boys side, Brevin Doll has a great first day, finishing 1st in the qualifying 100 meter run with a time of 11.11 seconds, and in the 200 meter run with at time of 22.37 seconds. He will race tomorrow in those finals. Cooper Greenslade puts up a PR with a time of 10 minutes 11 seconds in the boys 3200, finishing 11th. Lucas Annable finishes 12th in the boys discus throw, putting up a PR with 142-10. Vince Benetti puts up a PR in the boys high jump, finishing 9th at 6-00. The boys 4×800 meter relay team is 8th with a time of 8 minutes 15 seconds.
