Monday, May 16th

11:41am: Samantha Hardaway reported two Stray Dogs near 606 Hwy. 30 East. The officer did not locate the animals.

11:54am: Bill Berger spoke with an officer about concerns for an elderly neighbor. The

department has been working with family members to find appropriate care for

the female.

12:24pm: Fed Ex reported one of their employees and vehicles had been involved in a minor accident in Jefferson on May 13th, 2022. The officer is gathering information on the incident.

3:38pm: An officer removed debris from the roadway on the overpass and disposed of it.

3:59pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1900 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Gerardo Aguilar Ballester of Bloomfield being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

4:17pm: A caller reported her juvenile daughter had possibly been assaulted by another student. The officer is investigating.

8:09pm: Les Pierce reported he had witnessed a male on a bike in the 700 Block of North Cedar Street fire a long gun at a passing vehicle. Officers spoke with several witnesses in the area, as well as the driver of the vehicle that was reportedly shot at. There were no signs of damage on the vehicle. Officers began searching for the known male suspect.

8:56pm: Kelsy Reed advised of an unleashed dog near State and Maple Streets. The officers were unable to respond, due to the previous entry.
