The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center baseball team falls in their home opener Monday night.

The Chargers lost 11-2 against Woodward-Granger in their first game of the season. For the Hawks, Brody Nardini pitched a gem with 13 strikeouts and only allowed one hit with no runs allowed though five innings.  Woodward-Granger broke open the game once the started Brock Littler left the game with a four run 4th inning. The bats were cold for AC/GC ending the game with only two hits along with two runs that include a run batted in by Miles Kading.

Charger baseball will be back in action Friday to try and collect their first win against Glidden-Ralston at Glidden- Ralston High School with first pitch at 7:30pm.
