ADM Tigers boys baseball was on the field for the first time this season last night, as they took on the Clarke Indians in Adel. The Tigers were able to score in every single inning, and run rule Clarke by the score of 16-1.

The Tigers were able to score 9 runs in the first, 5 in the second, 1 in the 3rd, and 1 in the 4th. The Tigers were able to score in a variety of ways, putting the ball in play, grabbing hits, reaching via error, and other ways as well. Eight of the nine starters were able to reach base, as the Tigers put pressure on Clarke all night.

Tigers were able to get 3 innings and six strikeouts from Luke Greth, who was able to compile a good season opener start.

ADM will be taking on Ankeny Christian Academy at 6 o’clock tonight, with the game to be heard on True Country K1079. Pregame coverage will begin at 5:50.
