
The Greene County School Board will meet tomorrow night.
The Board will consider for approval additional student school permits, ratifying the negotiated agreement for the 2022-23 school year with the Laborer’s Union Local #177, along with approving additional summer projects and fundraising requests.
The Board will also consider approving a career academy agreement with Iowa Central Community College, a memorandum of understanding with the Iowa’s Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) for a 9th-12th grade program, the first reading of a revised board policy for certified employees being substitute teachers, a shared academic, extra curricular and co-curricular programs with Paton-Churdan; a shared special education director with Paton-Churdan, and purchasing an elementary reading curriculum. The Board will also hear an update on the student construction program.
The meeting will take place in person and online at 5:15pm from the district board room at the middle school.
