Brackets for the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s 2022 Postseason Soccer were announced earlier this week, and the West Central Valley Wildcats were able to nab the number 2 seed in their bracket. The number one team is the Treynor Cardinals, while conference rivals the Panorama Panthers got themselves the 7 seed. The Wildcats and Panthers will actually meet in the first round, where the Wildcats will look to have a repeat of their matchup from earlier in the season.

If they advance to the second round, the Wildcats will face off against either the Underwood Eagles, or St. Albert Falcons, depending on who proves victorious in their first round game. While St. Albert is one of the few teams in the bracket the Wildcats haven’t played against this season, the Eagles are one of the teams they have some experience against to look back on.
