Coming off of its initial return of a mainstay program last month, Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community is getting ready to host another Java and Juice event.
Jefferson Matters Executive Director Beth Vander Wilt says in April Java and Juice was held at the Greene County ISU Extension Office, where about 25 people learned about what they offer and met the staff. Vander Wilt notes this Friday Java and Juice will take place at Greene County Medical Center.
“We will have the opportunity to meet Chad Butterfield, the new CEO. I know Chad Butterfield is really wishing to become active in the community and meet people. So this will be a great opportunity for everybody. It will just be a nice time for people, if they haven’t seen the new renovations at the hospital, this would be a perfect time to go out and check out the hospital.”
Vander Wilt encourages any business or organization that wants to host a Java and Juice program to contact the Welcome Center at 515-386-2155. Friday’s event is free and open to the public.
