A Yale man was sentenced in federal court for falsifying records.
According to the Southern District Court of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 53-year-old Kendall Dean Kipp pled guilty to making false statements. He was sentenced to three years of probation and fined $9,500 along with having to serve 180 hours of community service.
The charge is from Kipp submitting falsified documents to the State of Iowa concerning the quality of water produced for the residents of the City of Yale which violated the provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
