Multiple spring sports will have events today for the Panorama Panthers which will include soccer matches as well as track and field.
The busy seasons continue for the Panorama Panthers as they will have a boy/girl soccer match today when they take on Des Moines Christian. The Panthers girls soccer team will begin their game at 5 p.m. while the boys will beget their match started at 7 p.m. The Panthers girls are coming into the match with an overall record of 8-3 on the season while the boys are coming into their match with a record of 3-7 on the year.
The Panthers girls and boys soccer teams both know where their postseasons will begin as the boys will be in Class 1A Substate 8 and the girls soccer team will be in Class 1A Region 3 where they will be taking on Kuemper Catholic at Panorama High School beginning at 6 p.m. May 18th.
The Panthers boys track and field team will head back out again today at 5 p.m. for a meet at AC/GC in Guthrie Center and the girls head to Martensdale St. Mary’s beginning at 4:30 p.m. for their meet. The Panthers girls and boys track and field teams are preparing for their state qualifying meet that will take place this week as the girls will be heading to Treynor for the Class 2A state qualifying meet.
Today will be a busy day for Panorama Panthers athletics as spring sports continue to barrel toward their postseasons.
