Although the Greene County High School soccer teams still have regular season contests remaining, this is postseason week for the Rams in golf and track & field.

Coach Heath Telleen’s boys’ golf team has a Class 3A Sectional Tournament this Wednesday in Denison at Majestic Hills Golf Course. The Rams have had a strong close to the end of the regular season including a season low 169 for nine holes in the final dual meet and two second place finishes in the last two tournaments.

On Friday, Coach Josh Carlson’s girls’ golfers will host a 2A golf regional first round tournament at Jefferson Community Golf Course. The Rams will welcome seven other teams to town as hosts for the first time in decades for a girls’ golf regional tournament.

Thursday is the day for track & field State Qualifying Meets across the state in all four classes of competition. Greene County goes 120 miles southwest to Treynor for a coed meet, while Paton-Churdan travels to Earlham for 1A action.
