West Central Valley athletics pick up where they left off last week, with both the boys and girls track and field teams competing on Monday. The boys will be heading to Guthrie Center for the Merritt-Charger Invitational, while the girls head to Martensdale for the Martensdale-St Marys High School Girls Invitational. Also on Monday, the girls soccer team will host the Kuemper Catholic Knights.

Tuesday the boys soccer team will host both a junior varsity and varsity match up against the Collins-Maxwell Spartans. Thursday the boys and girls track teams will be traveling to Treynor, for their state qualifying meets. Other teams from the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area to compete will be the AC/GC Chargers, Greene County Rams, Panorama Panthers, and Van Meter Bulldogs.

Also competing Thursday, the girls soccer team will travel to Harlan to take on the Harlan Cyclones, and the boys junior varsity soccer team will host the Waukee Warriors. To finish things off on Friday, the girls golf team will travel to Shenandoah. Other area teams to compete are the AC/GC Chargers and Panorama Panthers. The last team competing on Friday will be the boys soccer team, as they host the Treynor Cardinals.
