Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys and girls golf returned to the course on Thursday in soggy conditions, but that didn’t stop either team from firing good rounds, with both teams coming away as winners. The boys were able to win up at Perry with a team score of 160, while the girls were able to win at home with a team score of 195.

The boys were able to continue their strong play as of late as Easton Korell was able to come away as a meet medalist again with a score of 39 and Grant Jansen was runner up with a 40. The position for Korell is the sixth meet in a row where he has been a meet medalist.

The girls were able to fire good scores, with Monica Thomas being the medalist in the match with a score of 45, and Kendal Book being the runner up for the Tigers with a 48, as they were able to continue their tremendous play.

For the boys, they will be having meets three of the next four days as they will be competing at Beaver Creek Golf Course today against Dallas Center – Grimes. The girls will have their next meet on Monday at Lakeview Country Club in an all day tournament for Raccoon River Conference play.
