The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center track and field teams will travel to Woodward to compete in the West Central Activities Conference meet today.

The Chargers will face off eight other conference opponents. Head Coach Cody Matthewson says this is an important meet for the the track and field program.

“I’ve heard the conversation. How many meets do you want to win this year? I want to win three meets this year. There’s three meets that mean the most to me and this program is going to be the conference meet, the state qualifying meet, and then the state meet. Right now is going to be step number one of taking a step towards our goals, and that’s being a conference championship team.

AC/GC will head to Woodward-Granger High School at 4pm today and Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will provide full results from the meet this week.
