Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys and girls soccer were both back on the field on Monday night when they took on the Bluejays of Bondurant-Farrar. Both teams were able to compete hard, splitting the games, with the boys falling 3-0 and the girls getting it done with the score of 3-0.
The Tiger boys drop to 5-8 on the season and the girls move to 7-4 on the year.
The girls were able to put up one goal in the first half and two in the second half, putting together a strong effort and pulling away as they continue a strong second half of their season. They were able to make some strong plays throughout the night, working through the difficult weather.
The boys couldn’t find the net against a tough Bluejay club, as they had some opportunities throughout the evening, but couldn’t take advantage.
The girls will be playing in a tournament this upcoming weekend, while the boys don’t have any scheduled games until next week when a pair of important Raccoon River Conference games.
