In preparation for the gardening season, one non-profit organization is having its annual fundraiser in Jefferson.

The Thomas Jefferson Gardens is hosting its Plant Sale Thursday from 4-6pm, Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturday from 9am-1pm. There will be a variety of plants for sale to get everyone ready for warmer weather and to kickstart their gardens. All of the plants were started in the Thomas Jefferson Gardens greenhouse earlier this year.

Organizers also encourage those who come to the Plant Sale to check out the other features they have at the Gardens with a variety of prairie, farmers’, rose and children’s gardens. Additionally, there are outdoor musical instruments for people to enjoy.
