An Adair man suffered minor injuries from a single vehicle crash on Sunday. 

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the incident at 10:02pm on Highway 44 near Viola Avenue in Panora. A 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt was headed North on Highway 25, when the driver Colten Morrill fell asleep and lost control of the vehicle and ended up in the north ditch. 

The crash report shows Morrill suffered minor injuries to the face and neck and was transported by Panora EMS to the Guthrie County Hospital and the passenger did not suffer any injuries. The vehicle sustained $3,000 of damages and Morrill was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
