A monthly program in Jefferson will highlight preparing for the upcoming June Primary election.
Community Conversations will include Greene County Deputy Auditor and Election Official Billie Hoskins as the guest speaker. She will talk about the requirements of the election, the differences between what a primary and general election is, the costs associated with running an election, as well as the preparation for it, how you can qualify to vote, election security and the process at the polling location.
The free program will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson Thursday with fellowship and snacks at 5pm, followed by the informal discussion at 5:30. No pre-registration is needed.
