In efforts to highlight the new location of a local business the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon cutting coming up soon. 

The Chamber announced there will be a ribbon cutting event taking place beginning at 5 p.m. May 4th at the new Handsome Hounds Boarding and Grooming location that is on Highway 169 near the Penoach Winery. Owner Laura Juffer explains the business was able to expand due to a recent purchase of the facility she operates in. 

“I have been in Adel operating as a pet grooming business for 11 years and when the previous owners of the facility I am in decided to retire they approached us and we purchased the property and expanded the grooming business into a boarding business. So, we just wanted to celebrate the change and expansion of Handsome Hounds and celebrate our customers and thank them for the business that they’ve given us over the last 11 years.”

Juffer encourages customers to come out so they can thank them for being a customer as well as check out the new services. 

“We would just love for people to come out and see the facility, see what we have to offer for boarding services.”
