The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center girls track and field places as a team second at their own home meet Thursday night.

The lady Chargers finished behind IKM-Manning in second with 145 points. AC/GC had many athletes that placed at the very top of podium that include Ava Campbell finished first in the 1500 and 800 meter run, 4×800 meter relay team with Katelyn Schafer, Hayden Coffman, Ava Campbell and Adalyn Benson. Also, Jenna Rowley grabbed first in the high jump.

The boys track and field team was back in action with Drake Relay qualifier Austin Kunkle finishing first in the 100 and 200 meter dash. Also, Trevin Suhr was able to take first in the 1600 meter run along with the distance medley team. ACGC’s 4×100 meter relay team that qualified for the Drake Relays placed first and in the field events Payton Jacobe ended up in first in the shot put and Lance Bunde placed first in the high jump.
