An event taking place this weekend with Hometown Heritage at the Carnegie Library Museum will allow people to craft their own May Day baskets.
Hometown Heritage at the Carnegie Library Museum will be offering a historical craft club program from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30th at the museum and the featured craft will be May Day baskets.
Participants will learn the history of the springtime tradition and make their own May Day baskets to take home. The event is free and registration is not required to participate but it is recommended.
