A lot of Dallas Center – Grimes teams were playing in their respective spring sports on Thursday, and for the majority of the teams, they were able to find some good success across the board.

For both of the DCG soccer teams, they were able to find some success against Nevada, the boys winning at home 4-1 and the girls able to grab another road victory 2-1. The girls stay undefeated while the boys only have one loss on the year.

The track and field teams found success, the girls placing 3rd with 98 points in Urbandale and the boys getting 3rd with 118 points in Waukee.

The girls golf team was able to fire off a nice round at Otter Creek, with the team able to fire a 406 to finish 9th out of 13 teams.

The only team that has any events coming up this weekend, is DCG boys soccer. They will be playing in a tournament at Cedar Rapids on Saturday.
