The girls golf team for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn has not had many chances to play yet this year, but they sure looked like they were in late season form on Thursday, as they were able to pick up a victory over Ballard in Adel. The Tigers were able to continue their winning ways in conference, and were able to have multiple golfers fire off some nice scores.
The Tigers were able to fire a team score of 195, with Emma Mellencamp able to lead the way with a runner up performance of a 48. Monica Thomas was also able to get the same score with a score of 48 as well, with Kendal Book firing a 49 and Cecelia Gardner firing a 50 to round out the Tiger scoring in the 9 hole round.
The Tiger girls will have the weekend off before they jump back into Raccoon River Conference play next week, when they hit the road to Carroll Country Club to take on the host Tigers and the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays.
