Last night the West Central Valley girls track & field team traveled to Van Meter to compete in the Bill Miller Invitational, where a few of the girls placed in the top five in their events to score the team some points.
Junior Tasha Williams was the first to score, placing 5th in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.18 seconds. Sophomore Chasey Rowan helped out next, placing 4th in the 3000 meter run, with a time of 11 minutes and 56.36 seconds. Kinsey alt scored highest, with a 3rd place finish in the long jump, with a distance of 16 feet 10.75 inches.
The Wildcats will continue with another meet on Thursday, when they host the West Central Valley Wildcat Relays.
