Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center track and field coach decided after the cancelation of the Greene County meet to take a couple of his distance teams to Lenox and see if they could qualify for the Drake Relays on Monday.

The 4×100 meter relay team that includes Brock Littler, Charlie Crawford, Austin Kunkle and Cayden Jensen ran a time of 43.81 which was 1 hundredth of a second off of the blue standard and another school record.

The Distance Medley team between Kunkle, Jensen, Crawford and Suhr ran a time of 3:44.07 which is 30th and the current cutoff line to make the Drake Relays is 3:42.31.

The deadline for qualifications for the Drake Relays is at 11:59pm on Thursday.

The Drake Relays are from April 28-30.
