The Dallas County Supervisors met Tuesday.
The Board approved three new vehicle purchases for the sheriff’s office and the American Rescue Plan Act funds project list, including a request for video conferencing equipment not to exceed $200,000, body scanners not to exceed $196,000and a stair chair for $35,000 . The Board also approved the county auditor’s review of local and township budgets certification and after two public hearings they approved the rezoning of Schulte and Crimson Development. Also, the Board proclaimed National Therapy Animal Day on April 30th and the nationwide cleaning contract addendum for the farm campus north of Adel. Finally, the Board tabled the sheriff’s office outdoor training area concrete to receive additional cost estimates.
