A big event is coming up in Guthrie Center that many will want to bring their Easter baskets to. 

The “Guthrie Center Community Easter Egg Hunt,”will be this Saturday at the Guthrie Center Elementary playground. Starting at 10am, families will get a chance to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny and every child will receive donuts and a goodie bucket. At 10:55 children will receive instructions and at 11am the hunt will begin for Easter eggs. The age groups include  infants to two years old, three and four, kindergarten and first grade along with second and third graders and fourth through sixth graders. Rose Acres has sponsored this event and supplied the eggs and prizes for winners.
