Two teens were injured following a two vehicle crash in Greene County Tuesday night.
Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says he and two deputies, the Jefferson Fire Department and Greene County Ambulance responded to the wreck at 5:53pm at the intersection of 240th Street and J Avenue. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio a 2004 Dodge Ram truck driven by a 17-year-old from Bagley was traveling south on J Avenue when the driver entered the intersection from the posted stop sign and struck an eastbound 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by a 19-year-old Caden Etherton of Jefferson.
Williams says following the collision, the truck rolled onto its side and both vehicles ended up in the southeast ditch against a tree. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Ambulance. Both vehicles were totaled. A citation is pending completion of the investigation.
