Local authorities responded to a call of a suicide in Jefferson over the weekend.

Jefferson Police Chief Mark Clouse tells Raccoon Valley, police officers, Greene County Ambulance and the County Medical Examiner went to the Super 8 Hotel just before 10am Sunday. It was determined that an individual died by suicide in their vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel.
