An upcoming program series with Dallas County Extension will offer the opportunity to make reading fun. 

The Our Bookshelf program will take place online and will help participants learn new ideas and activities to make reading fun in the home. There are four sessions on Tuesdays in April with the 19th and 26th and May with the 3rd and 10th  There are two time periods for the sessions with 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and will take place via Zoom. 

Children do not need to attend the virtual sessions but are welcome to join. Registration is required and after each session each participating family can receive a free book. 

The program is intended for parents and caregivers with children ages 3-6 and is available to families in Dallas County.
