Monday, April 4th
1:19am: An officer checked on a subject standing outside of a closed business at 508 North Elm Street. The subject was using the Wi-Fi from the business.
8:03am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Grimmell Road resulted in Jake Ball of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
8:40am: Dollar General reported finding “Prop Money” in the daily money from closing. The officer took the $20.00 Bill and is investigating.
9:33am: Aaron Thiel reported Suspicious Activity on a Bank Card. The officer advised Thiel to contact his lender and see what exactly was occurring. He advised Thiel to contact him back if assistance was needed from law enforcement.
10:08am: Officers arrested a male from 701 North Cedar #27, who had an outstanding arrest warrant. Francisco Javier Lumbreras, 20 of Jefferson, was wanted in Story County for, “Failure to Appear.”
1:57pm: Heather Ketchum advised she caught a Stray Dog and had it at 705 West Harrison Street. The officers placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.
7:26pm: A caller advised of Loud Music in the 700 Block of West State Street. The officer located the source of the music and spoke to the subject. The music volume was lowered.
7:08pm: A caller reported a Stray Dog in the 200 Block of East Adams Street. The officer was unable to locate the reported animal.
