The filing deadline has passed for any Guthrie County positions that are up for reelection this year. 

The candidates include Republican incumbents Clifford Carney, Jack Lloyd and Jerome Kuster, along with Democrat newcomer Jacki Sloss for the County Supervisor District 1. County Supervisor District 2 has the following candidates: Republicans Clinton Deardorff and Brian Johnson.  Also, for the Supervisor District 3 there are two Republicans with Maggie Armstrong and William Halling, and Tom Flanery is running unopposed for the Democrats. Filling for Supervisor District 4 is Mike Herbert as a Democrat and JT Herron, and Steve Smith is the lone Republican.

The other county seats are unopposed for the primary election. This includes Republican Brenda Campbell for county treasurer, Republican incumbent Tristen Richard is seeking reelection for county recorder. Finally, running unopposed for county attorney is Democrat John Maschman.
