The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys golf team is looking to hit the links again this season and shoot for par to get another chance to make it back to the state tournament this year which will be held in Ames.

The Tigers boys will be returning multiple key pieces to the team including Sam Hlas who came in 14th overall at the state tournament last year where he shot 25 over par which was the top individual finish for the Tiger boys. The next best finish in the state tournament last year was Easton Korrell who came in tied for 34th while shooting a 37 over par in the state tournament.

For this year the Class 3A Boys State Golf Tournament will be held at the beautiful Veenker Memorial Golf Course in Ames. This is a partnership between the Iowa High School Athletic Association, the Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau and three golf courses in Ames including Ames Golf and Country Club, Coldwater Golf Links and Veenker Memorial Golf Course to host the Class 1A, 2A and 3A boys state tournaments in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The Tigers boys golf team will be looking to have a solid season out on the course to participate in the Class 3A State Tournament when it takes place on from May 23rd-24th this year.
