As the Big Boom Bracket Battle continues with the Perry Chamber of Commerce, time is running out to donate for the Explosive Eight round. 

The Big Boom Bracket Battle is down to eight contestants and this round will have donations being accepted until 10 a.m. tomorrow. Donations can be made online and  in person at the McCreary Center or Ben’s Five and Dime in Perry. Donations can also be mailed or delivered to the Perry Chamber of Commerce. 

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says there was roughly $1,565 raised in the Sweet-as-Pie 16 round of the contest. Pasutti talks about the bracket for the Explosive Eight round of the competition.

“We have a really great bracket with those eight individuals all raising more than their previous competitors so it’s really anyone’s guess who is going to be moving on to the next round.”
